Triple M Racing moves to WorldSBK as official Honda satellite team

2018 welcomes third Fireblade to the grid

Honda Motor Europe have announced they are set to run a third Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship for 2018, with Triple M Racing as the team make the step up from the European Superstock 1000 Championship.

Joining the championship as the official satellite team, they will receive support from the Japanese factory across the 13 rounds of the WorldSBK championship. Running one bike, Triple M Honda feel the project has a lot of potential, and will be an exciting season whilst Honda look forward to continue to invest in motorcycle racing.

Matthias Moser, Triple M Racing owner is delighted at the news: “I feel very honoured and pleased that my team, Triple M Racing, has been selected by Honda as their official satellite team to compete in the Superbike World Championship. I am convinced that the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 has a great potential and that we can help to demonstrate its competitiveness on the track in 2018 and beyond.”
